Shangri-La

Shangri-La artwork

The original four-player Time Travel Will Tell quest, from the first eclipse to the Focusing Stone. Photographed symbols, tile locations and gong notes support the steps that need communication. Power, Pack-a-Punch, the song and monkey rewards are also available outside the main quest.

Main Easter Egg

One optional check per part.

  • Activate both power switches; stand on the raised Pack-a-Punch plates.
  • Use four players to trigger an eclipse before each trial.

  • Activate the brick button and assign one caller per tile area.
  • Discover and stand on all twelve matching pairs.

Record the symbols revealed by your floor tiles. Give tiles your own landmark names so teammates can find the same pair; their positions change each match.

During the eclipse, explore one side while the other player stays off every tile. Once both locations are known, stand on the matching pair together. A wrong pair resets the puzzle.

These are your own tile numbers, not a map layout. Add a landmark name when you record a tile.

Which symbol appears when you stand on it?

    0 of 12 pairs located

Mark “Matched in game” only after both tiles disappear. Finding a pair here does not activate it in the game.

Record the same symbol on both sides to see a pair here.

  • Find and ring the four correct gongs during the eclipse.

Test the eight photographed gongs and record the four that do not turn the crystals red. Wrong gongs reset the ringing, not which four are correct.

For the main quest, test during an eclipse after completing the crystal trials. A correct gong gives the positive sound/character cue; a wrong one flashes the crystals red. Leave uncertain gongs as “Untested”.

0 of 4 correct gongs recorded

Record only what you have tested. A previous failure does not shuffle the correct set.
